| This scene needed quiet music, starting in a semi-suspenseful mood and had to be scored for piano, strings and flute. It should draw the audience into Joanie’s discovery, in her late mother’s jewelry box, of an old photo of her father and a woman who is not her mother. It ends with an unresolved, questioning tone as it fades to black. |
